Who are some of your favorite artists? I mean like seriously, who are some of your favorite artists that inspire you, push you, and make you want to become better? Amongst my list, this is one of my absolute favorite artists. Everyone meet Rose Ashton! Rose flows by the speed of her own current. She creates with intention. She's driving in her own lane and kicking up so much steam in the process. I've watched each post that she's shared with the world via her feed and I knew she had a deliberate focus to her path as an artist. 

I had the privilege to hang with her during my time in Sydney and man she's one amazing soul. We had a walking meeting (kind of, sort of) and then we stopped for coffee/tea. Our conversation went from the origins of our work to what inspires us to what's next for our careers to the power of social media to the problems with social media to our fears as artists to globalization etc. etc. What a moving conversation. 

This is just the beginning of what will evolve into a collaboration between us in 2016. Rose is a student of the arts. She's in control of the drastic changes of her career that will challenge her to push harder. She's headed down a road that many people can't travel, and I strongly encourage you to follow/support her and her journey.
