Really excited to apart of this experience! Special thanks to Sarah Silbert Hinawi for the invite!

This Saturday, I'm headed up to Purpl (Hastings on Hudson) to create a live art installation for the 2nd Annual RiversArt Music Tour!

More info about the event:

In its second year, the Music Tour is a celebration of the depth and breadth of the Rivertowns music communities of Hastings, Dobbs Ferry, Irvington, and Tarrytown. More than 175 musicians will participate in 90 performances at 30 different venues throughout the day in this multi-village event. Genres include Folk, Rock, Classical, Blues, Jazz, Bluegrass, and World and venues include front porches, lawns, churches, and public spaces. Seasoned professionals, budding musicians, and everyone in between will perform.

The RiverArts Music Tour returns to Purpl Saturday, June 4th. Enjoy performances from Kismet (Jessica Seidel and Sarah Hinawi), Brian Gelfand, Steve Addabbo, and Steve Horlick and The Electronic Art Ensemble v2 throughout the afternoon.

TED Resident and community art generator, Reggie Black, will be creating a live art installation inspired by the connection between music and human interaction. His work will be derived from public responses to the question: "How does music motivate you?"
